Requirements for Sybase DBAs for one of our top MNC clients in Singapore. This is a contract job and is open to candidates in Singapore/Malaysia/ India, etc. Please go through the details:

Skills Requirement

* 5 years experience in Sybase database administration in production environments.
* Capable to perform the following Database Administration tasks independently in Sybase 11.9.2, 12.0 & Sybase 12.5 and Sybase Replication Server management using both LTMs and Repagent
* Installation of Sybase software and Sybase Replication.
* Capable to perform Sybase database setup, database upgrades, space management, backup and recovery
* Proficient in Unix system administration relevant to Sybase database management.
* Experience in supporting multiple SQL Server installations on a single box and very large Sybase databases.
* Experience in troubleshooting Sybase Replication problems.
* Capable of providing provide 24X7 support in a critical production environment.
* Strong scripting skills in UNIX shell environment.
** Knowledge in Linux, BMC SQL BackTrack and BMC Patrol are a plus
